XVI INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF THE SIGEF: Economical and Financial Systems in Emergent Economies.
We are pleased to welcome you to the XVI Conference of the International Association for Fuzzy-Set Management and Economy (SIGEF). The meeting will be held on October 28-29 in Morelia Michoacan, Mexico.
Morelia has excelled in the country for its history, the city is one of the
sites where the Independence of Mexico was planned. As the birthplace of
important historical characters such as José María Morelos y
Pavón, Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez, Agustín de Iturbide, and several
presidents of Mexico, poets and composers. It is the birthplace of the main
conspirators of Valladolid, such as, José Mariano Michelena and José
María García Obeso. Moreover, Morelia has a rich cultural
legacy from the preserved architectural heritage of the colonial age.
The Morelia's historical center was declared Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by
UNESCO in 1991.
Scope of the Conference
The Conference offers a forum where academics, professionals and practitioners, working in the field of economics, finance, management and organization, can exchange ideas and experiences on the advancement of research, methods, techniques, application and projects based on fuzzy logic, neural systems, genetic algorithms, ant systems, uncertainty theory, complexity theory and soft computing.
The Conference's aim is to stimulate scientific exchanges, the promotion of international cooperation between academic community and companies, and spreading results of international research through the Conference Proceedings.
